The 2005 Honda Accord is among Honda’s acclaimed midsize sedans to have entered the automotive market with a bang. The ‘bang’ about the 2005 model of the Accord is the release of its hybrid trim level as a variant of the base model, adding Honda’s name to the race of dual-fuel vehicle manufacturers.

The 2005 Honda Accord has two engines that buyers can choose from. For those going for a ride of moderation, a 160 horsepower I-4 engine is quite sufficient. Other than this engine having a capacity of 2.4 liters, the 2005 Accord also comes with a more powerful 3.0-liter V6 – capable of revving up a more commendable 240 horsepower.

The fuel economy is also praiseworthy – it is definitely not everyday that one sees a midsize sedan delivering an effortless 34mpg on the highway.

The 2005 Accord has been improved in terms of its safety features, too. Side-curtain airbags have been included as additions in the 2005 model year.
